Ebola

• Global concerns over the spread of Ebola have accelerated over the past few weeks. Thomas Eric Duncan, the first patient diagnosed with the virus in the U.S. passed away and a nurse who treated him was also infected but has been cleared of the disease in recent days. Nigeria has also been declared Ebola free but the World Health Organization has stated that deaths from Ebola could be as high as 15,000 in core affected nations and that new infections could reach as high as 10,000 per week.
